Wabash College - Class of 1991

Just as classmate Brian Burdick presented the IAWM’s Man of the Year Award this month, word comes that he’s just been given some recognition of his own. He’s listed on Indiana Super Lawyers List for 2008, which appears in the March issue of Indiana Super Lawyers magazine.

Brian is a partner in the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg and concentrates his practice in the areas of government services and public finance. In the public finance area, he serves as special counsel to commercial and investment banks, money management firms, and registered investment advisors advising them on issues in the tax-exempt marketplace including Indiana public-fund banking and investment issues. Brian also represents governmental entities as well as underwriters and credit providers in their various roles in public debt offerings.

Congratulations on such fine recognition! (No word whether it comes with a cape and secret identity.)

Brian was the main presenter of the award to his fellow partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Barnes & Thornburg. The Wabash Trustee was recognized on Saturday as part of the IAWM’s annual Valentine’s Dance.
